The Half Wire simply slips onto the face and wraps around it which opens you peripheral vision. Oakley also eliminates harsh glare, haze and distortion from reflective surfaces due to their amazingly efficient polarised lenses, a rarity among other polarised lenses.
The Half Wire has also been designed to be as light weight as possible and as it is made out of a C-5 alloy and the sculptural design is in keeping with the latest fashion trends. All of Oakley’s artistic flair is also complimented by a substantial amount of science in the form of their high definition optics, Oakley’s way of creating unbeatable clarity. This is partially because they are made from plutonite; a material that filters out all UV rays.
Comfort is also installed into the Half Wire as it utilises Oakley’s 3 point fit principle, meaning that is fits snugly at the 3 main points of contact i.e. the bridge of the nose and at either side of the head. The grip is even increased through perspiration through a remarkable material called unobtainium. An optional iridium lens coating is also on offer and this helps to balance light transmission.
