The evolution of the whisker has been a steady, meticulous climb which has reined victorious. Taking inspiration from the Oakley wire, square wire and E wire of the past, the Whisker hasn’t failed to maintain the comfort, style and Oakley finesse.
On first appearance these sunglasses are a bit delicate, but if you’ve owned a pair previously, you’ll understand, years of wear and usage have proven them technically sound. Although not delicate visually, these sunnies are hardcore.

Lets start with the ringleader of this particular range, the WHISKER, where the predecessors take their inspiration. The ultra lightweight high modulus C-5 frame material, the 8.75 base frame curvature and the optional iridium coating….and we’ve only scratched the surface. Although these may look a bit airy fairy, they aren’t for the faint hearted. As is proven by their upstanding traits.

The difference is fairly subtle but you can spot a whisker a mile off once
you know how. The Square Whisker, strangely enough, is square!
Ill give you the low down on the technicalities. Polarized lenses filter the light through their laminated surface which only allows vertically-polarized light through. Resulting in a reduction in glare which generally arises from reflective surfaces such as the metal of a car. Making these sunglasses good for summer cruising! And not to worry if you get a little hot under the collar because subtle UNOBATANIUM components increase grip with perspiration!
